QCLL League-specific Policies
General
Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
Download the TrackMan app and create a profile. When you have a profile created, you can do a quick login by opening your TrackMan app on your phone and scanning the QR code on the computer screen inside the bay.
Optional: If you want to get specific stats on your game, you’ll need to take a few minutes to tell the app what clubs you have in your golf bag. You’ll need a TrackMan account to see your scores and stats, but how much you put into the app about your golf game is totally optional!
Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before to get settled into a bay. Swing Fit turns the bays over right at 7:00PM to us. There is no warming up prior to 7PM unless there happen to be empty bays upon arrival. We will get started promptly at 7PM. If you are running late send a message in the group chat and your partners may have to log in for you and start playing for you until you arrive.
QCLL League is setup with two divisions in order to ensure participants are playing yardages that are comfortable for them. One division will be the most forward tees or shortest yardage for the golf course, and the other division will play a bit longer yardages. Each week you can choose which division you want to play.
Trackman settings will be set to auto-putt which means that there is no putting
Maximum on any hole is double par. When you reach that number, press the PICKUP button to pick up your ball and end your play on that hole. This is important to keep the pace moving.
Communication
League members will join a WhatsApp group through an invitation link sent after completing checkout. Members will communicate via WhatsApp and RSVP each week by Monday 9AM to ensure there is an accurate count of players and adequate bay capacity for Wednesday.
Sub Policy
There will be no subs. If a player wants to join week-to-week, provided there is capacity, she will need to pay the weekly fee.
Pace of Play
Golf etiquette still applies in the indoor golf setting. Players must make every effort to maintain pace of play in the bays.
Pay attention to who's up next - After a player hits the ball, there is an aerial view of the hole showing where their ball landed, and you'll notice that in the bottom right hand corner there will be the name of whomever is up to hit the next shot. While it's each player's responsibility to watch who's turn it is, don't be shy to courteously prompt fellow players if you see they haven't noticed that it's their turn to hit.
Be ready to hit when it's your turn - Your yardage can be found in the bottom left of the screen, including info about the elevation change relative to the pin.
Know where your ball is in relation to other players - The simulator assigns you a color, and you can see where your ball is in relation to everyone else's ball. In the bottom right hand corner there is a mini aerial view of the hole and it shows where every player's golf ball is, indicated by color.
Pick up your ball after hitting double par. The pickup button can be found by clicking on your name in the top left corner of the screen. A menu will pop up with the pickup button showing as an option.
Please sign out of the bays at 9PM.
