Prime Day Deals: My Personal Watchlist for Big-Ticket Golf Gear
I almost never buy big-ticket golf gear at full price.
Not because I'm trying to be cheap about it. It's because Amazon Prime Day exists, and I've learned to be patient.
Case in point: my rangefinder. I bought it during a Prime Day sale, and I am so glad I waited. I remember unboxing it and taking it out on the course for the first time. It definitely takes some getting used to… actually shooting the pin instead of guessing is its own little skill. But it made an immediate difference. And I saved real money getting it during the sale instead of paying full price whenever the mood struck me.
That's the whole philosophy behind this post. Prime Day runs June 23–26 this year, and if you've been putting off a bigger golf purchase… a new bag, a push cart, a rangefinder, a GPS watch… this is genuinely the best window of the year to pull the trigger.
Here's exactly what's on my personal list.
My Rangefinder: Already Own It, Would Buy It Again
I have the [Blue Tees rangefinder], and it has changed how I play.
Here's what I didn't fully appreciate until I started using it regularly: it doesn't just give you straight-line yardage. Mine also provides slope-adjusted yardage: meaning it accounts for elevation change between you and the pin.
This matters more than you'd think. My home course has several downhill par 3's with steep drop-offs, and the difference between the flat yardage and the slope-adjusted yardage on those holes is significant. Knowing the adjusted number is genuinely the difference between hitting the green and sailing way over it. I've watched it save my round more than once.
If you've been guessing distances and grabbing the wrong club, this is the upgrade that fixes it. And if you're going to buy one, Prime Day is when I'd do it.
The Garmin Golf Watch: My #1 Recommendation for Beginners
I still recommend the [Garmin golf watch] to literally every woman who asks me how to feel more prepared on the course.
It's not just about distance - though it gives you that at a glance, which is genuinely useful. It also tracks your score automatically as you play, so you're not juggling a paper scorecard and a pencil while also trying to remember your stats from three holes ago. For a beginner especially, having that information just sitting on your wrist removes one more thing to think about, which means you get to actually focus on your game.
I know it’s an investment - but it’s so helpful! If you’re not sure about a rangefinder right now, the watch is a great alternative that does double duty.
The Push Cart That Changed My Whole Walking Game
If you've never used a push cart, let me tell you, it is a different experience than carrying your bag or even using a basic cart.
I have the [Sun Mountain Speed Cart X3], and I've had it for a couple of years now. Mine is black, though it comes in several other colors if you want to make a statement.
What I love about it:
A real cup holder. Sounds small. Is not small. Your water bottle has a home.
A roomy mesh storage bag. Mine holds my wallet, extra golf balls, anything I don't want rattling around loose. Genuinely useful.
A spot for your scorecard and pencil. Right there, accessible, no digging through pockets.
It holds your bag securely. No wobbling, no shifting on uneven terrain.
The whole thing makes for a surprisingly comfortable walk on the course. If you've been wanting to walk more rounds instead of always taking a cart: for the exercise, for the pace of play, for the peaceful feeling of just you and the course - then a good push cart is what makes that realistic. It's on my list to keep recommending because mine has genuinely held up beautifully for years.
The Golf Bag I'm Currently Eyeing
I haven't pulled the trigger on this one yet, but it's been on my watch list for a while: the [OGIO Fuse 4 Stand Bag in Magnolia].
It's white with yellow and green detail… it genuinely gives off The Masters energy, if you know what I mean. It's lightweight, which matters more than people realize when you're walking a full round, and it has a molded top that holds its shape and makes getting your clubs in and out smooth and durable over time. It's technically a carry bag, so it comes with a shoulder strap if you ever want that option, even though most of the time it'll be riding on a cart or push cart.
It also comes in other colors if Magnolia isn't your vibe: I'm also a little obsessed with this bag in the Quartz color, which is this beautiful light brownish-gold tone.
If my current bag gives out before next Prime Day, this is exactly what I'm replacing it with. And if you've been holding off on a bag upgrade, this window is the time to watch for it.
A Few Notes on Shopping Prime Day Smart
A couple of things I've learned from doing this myself:
Deals can change throughout the event. Prime Day runs four days this year, and pricing can shift, so if something you want hits a price you're happy with, don't wait to see if it gets better.
Set a price in your head before you start scrolling. It's easy to get caught up in "it's on sale" energy and buy things you weren't actually planning to buy. Know what you're looking for going in.
Big-ticket items are where Prime Day really earns its reputation. Smaller accessories go on sale all the time. It's the bags, the tech, and the carts… the things you'd normally have to save up for… where the real savings show up.
The Short Version
If a rangefinder, a GPS watch, a push cart, or a new golf bag has been on your mind, June 23–26 is the window to watch. I'll be keeping an eye on prices myself and will update this post with specifics once the sale goes live.
Here's to scoring something great for your golf game, and for your wallet!
I'll be updating this post with live pricing once Prime Day officially kicks off Tuesday.
