The Women's Golf Clothing Brands You've Never Heard Of, But Should Definitely Be Paying Attention To

Pssst…. You don't have to shop at the big box golf store. You don't have to settle for the same three brands you see at every pro shop, in the same four colors, in styles that feel designed for someone else. There is an entire world of smaller women's golf brands out there- brands started by women, designed for women, with personality and intention baked into every single piece.

I've been building my golf wardrobe with them for a while now. And I think it's time to share what I've found.

These are not household names yet. But they will be. And you'll feel very smug for knowing about them early.

Why I'm Actively Choosing Smaller Women's Golf Brands

I want to support the amazing women building something in this space.

Golf has historically not been designed around women. The clothing, the equipment, the culture… all of it skewed heavily male for a very long time. The women starting these smaller brands are changing that, one gorgeous pleated skirt at a time. They're creating pieces that actually fit women's bodies, reflect women's style preferences, and make you feel like golf was made for you - because they are making it for you.

Shopping with them is a vote for the kind of golf culture I want to see more of. And as a bonus, the clothes are absolutely stunning.

Renwick Sport

renwicksport.com

This is where I want to start because Renwick is where my heart currently lives.

I have their bright orange pleated skirt - which, if you know me, you already know is almost too perfect for my wardrobe- with the lightest blue undershorts peeking out underneath. Orange and light blue together on a golf course is a combination that makes me super happy every time I put it on. The pleats move beautifully and the fit is exactly what I look for: roomy enough to swing freely, polished enough to walk into the clubhouse afterward without a second thought. And plenty of pockets!

I also have their blue and white mini striped sleeveless polo. This one is clean and classic and goes with almost everything. Collared, sleeveless, perfectly golf-appropriate, and just a little bit elevated compared to what you'd find at a typical golf retailer.

And then there's the green hat with the pink azalea embroidery. Masters-inspired and absolutely gorgeous. It is the kind of hat that makes you feel like you're playing somewhere important, even when you're at your regular Tuesday league.

If you love bright colors, pleats, and pieces that feel a little more intentional than what you'd find at a big box store, then start here.

Smoke Show Golf Co

smokeshowgolf.com

Brooke makes the most fun patterned golf polos I have ever seen. Full stop.

I have her classic blue queen bee sleeveless polo and I reach for it constantly. The pattern is playful without being loud, which is exactly the sweet spot. The construction is great, the fit is great, and every single time I wear it someone on the course asks me where it's from.

Currently on my personal wish list: the Red Hot Tropical sleeveless polo (the colors are incredible) and the Pink Groovin' pattern that I have been eyeing for weeks now. I cannot decide which one to get first. Both. The answer is probably both.

Smoke Show Golf Co is the brand for the woman who wants her golf outfit to have a little personality. Who is tired of shopping for golf clothes and finding nothing that feels like her. Who wants to show up to the first tee looking like she put thought into her outfit because she did.

ForeAll

foreall.com

ForeAll has a very specific and very committed aesthetic: green. Their branding leans into the color of golf itself and they do it beautifully.

The women behind this brand are powerhouses, and it comes through in everything they create. This summer they dropped a golf Barbie collection that has been making the rounds in women's golf circles -cute, fun, and exactly the kind of thing that makes golf feel accessible and joyful rather than stuffy and serious.

If you love a brand with a clear point of view and the confidence to go all in on it, ForeAll is worth a look.

Fore The Girls Golf

forethegirlsgolf.com

You may have already heard me mention Fore The Girls when I was talking about ball markers - they make a bucket hat with a magnetic ball marker clip sewn right into the brim, which is genius and which I love deeply.

But their full lineup is worth your attention. Dresses, hats, and accessories that feel designed for women who actually play golf, not women who golf occasionally and spend most of their time in the clubhouse. These are pieces built for the course.

Their bucket hat selection especially is worth scrolling through if you're looking for maximum sun coverage with maximum style. The magnetic ball marker built in makes it both functional and fun, which is exactly the combination I'm always looking for.

A Putnam

aputnam.com

So, I’ve been lurking the socials & website of this brand for a while but to be honest I have not purchased from A Putnam yet. But I have been admiring them for a while and they absolutely belong on this list.

A Putnam screams luxury in the best possible way. You find their pieces in country club pro shops- they have that exclusive, elevated feeling that makes you slow down and look twice. The vibe is: dressed for a board meeting, ready to tee off at 5pm. Versatile, polished pieces that transition from your workday straight to the golf course …and vice versa… without needing to change.

This brand is for the woman who wants her golf clothes to feel like an investment. Who wants pieces that could work with her professional wardrobe just as easily as they work with her golf bag. I haven't pulled the trigger yet but I certainly have my eye on a few things-and when I do, you'll be the first to know.

The Bigger Point

Golf is having a moment with women right now. More of us are picking up clubs, joining leagues, discovering what this game can do for our confidence, our friendships, and our lives.

And the smaller brands building for us -Renwick Sport, Smoke Show Golf Co, ForeAll, Fore The Girls, A Putnam - they deserve our attention and our support. Not just because their clothes are beautiful, which they are. But because they're investing in us. They're designing for us. They're out here building something because they believe women belong on this course just as much as anyone else.

Go find the brand that feels like yours. Wear the bright orange skirt. Order the tropical polo. Clip the ball marker to the bucket hat.

Show up to the first tee looking exactly like yourself.

That's the whole point.

All five brands are linked throughout this post — click through to browse their full collections. And if you have a smaller women's golf brand you love that I haven't mentioned, send me a DM on Instagram or shoot me an email at hello@queencitylinksladies.com. I'm always looking for the next great find.
