Hi, I'm Mary — a runner, a reader, a cookie-dough enthusiast, a Wordler, a mom, and a podcast-in-the-car kind of woman.

A few years ago, I decided to learn golf as a total beginner. I had zero experience, a million questions, and more than a few moments of wanting to disappear into a sand trap.

Now? I play weekly in a ladies league, tee it up at beautiful courses when I travel, and say yes to every scramble and company outing that comes my way — without breaking a sweat.

Because I've been exactly where you are, I write and teach with the beginner always top of mind. I know what it feels like to not know what you don't know. And I know how good it feels on the other side.
